Leading property company, Bruntwood, is underway with a £1m investment programme into new facilities for customers at its Trafford House building on Chester Road, Old Trafford.

The 134,000 sq ft office building now offers a new range of amenities designed to improve the customer experience including a lounge, outdoor terrace, fitness and events space, showers and changing facilities.

Bruntwood has also invested in a unique partnership with Les Mills to offer virtual fitness classes throughout the day and Altius Healthcare to deliver classes that promote employee wellbeing among its customers.

And with an increasing number of companies and freelancers adopting flexible working patterns across the Greater Manchester region, Bruntwood has introduced a new co-working space in the building with hot desk options, as well as a new range of serviced and managed office solutions.

Andrew Cooke, Head of Asset Management, Bruntwood said: “The workspaces and facilities that we have created at Trafford House are more in demand than ever. This is not just the case in the city centre - many companies seek more affordable options further afield.

“Old Trafford is becoming an increasingly attractive hotspot for businesses because it boasts good transport links to the city centre.

“Out of town locations like Old Trafford offer more accessible rents to start-ups and smaller companies and when you combine this with the type of amenities associated with city centre working in the way we have provided at Trafford House, you have an ideal location for a business to thrive.”

Andrew added: “As the demand for co-working and flexible office space grows, we predict that it will spread far beyond the city centre locations where it has been most popular to date.

Trafford House is the first of a number of planned investments by Bruntwood across the region with similar refurbishments scheduled for Booths Park in Knutsford and Wilderspool in Warrington.
