Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is partnering with Bruntwood Works to help North West businesses unlock growth opportunities as part of a comprehensive business support programme.

The partnership will allow workspace and leisure operator Bruntwood Works’ customers to join AMBS’ Scale-up Forum which aims to support fast-growing companies by mentoring them through the challenges they face in the current climate, and giving them access to advice from world-class industry experts.

The partnership is part of Bruntwood Works’ Spark programme – a business growth initiative launched by the workspace provider earlier this year. Through the Spark programme, businesses have access to tailored guidance on a broad range of topics, from finance, HR and legal issues, to advice on productivity, sales, marketing and digital strategies, as well as leadership and championing people.

Ciara Keeling, CEO at Bruntwood Works, said: “For businesses looking to grow, connecting with networks of experts and innovators is key to unlocking exciting opportunities, and collaboration is more important than ever in helping our towns and cities to thrive. Our Spark programme already provides our customers with guidance, tools and opportunities to engage with new ecosystems, and this support is particularly vital for businesses that have had to adapt their models as a result of the pandemic. It’s a real privilege to be able to partner with a world-leading business school to further extend our support offering.”

The partnership will also empower women to embrace their inner creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by giving Bruntwood Works’ customers a platform to connect with the School’s She’s the Business network and event programme.

Lynn Sheppard, director of the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre at Alliance MBS, said: “Joining forces with Bruntwood Works, a great supporter of the North West business community, is an exciting prospect for us, given their ambitions to champion the region’s entrepreneurs and start-ups are closely aligned with our own. Through this partnership, AMBS will continue to give future business leaders the tools and support they need to develop and drive growth through the region – crucial for helping the North West build back better.”

She’s the Business brings together like-minded young women from across the region to tackle the issue of female underrepresentation in the workplace, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Bruntwood Works will be the latest to join a list of other regional partners including DWF, Capita and Virgin Money.
