Enterprise Nation has announced a partnership with leading workspace provider Bruntwood Works, to help supercharge the support it offers to its growing business community.

The collaboration will see small business support network Enterprise Nation offering ‘plugged in’ support and business-building events in curated Bruntwood spaces in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire, with the aim of helping firms grappling with the fundamental business groundwork including finances, marketing and export.

The link-up is part of Bruntwood Works’s programme to build a collaborative business community within its workspaces that complement the firm’s insistence on providing state-of-the-art office design to support its clients.

A range of exciting benefits are available to Bruntwood customers who join the membership including networking events, online masterclasses, expert advice, live pitches to journalists, funders and buyers, speaker opportunities and a resources library.

Hatch, Bruntwood’s pop up retail, food and drink destination on Oxford Road has already partnered with Enterprise Nation, to launch a competition to win a free retail space for a month, with Emma Jones MBE, founder of Enterprise Nation judging the entries to decide the winner.

Bruntwood and Enterprise Nation have also joined forces to launch a free two-day business boot-camp for would-be entrepreneurs aged 16 to 25 at Bruntwood’s landmark Union building in Manchester city centre. The event aims to inspire the next generation of self starters and encourage and equip young people to step out and launch their own ventures.

Andrew Butterworth, Commercial Director from Bruntwood Works said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to join forces with an organisation that shares our values and is equally committed to helping start-up businesses and entrepreneurs to successfully collaborate, network and grow. Enterprise Nation will be an invaluable source of business support for the ventures based in our workspaces and will help to ensure that we’re creating places where businesses can really thrive.”

Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “Entrepreneurs are greatly helped by the right environment in which to be creative and grow successful businesses. Part of that involves providing intuitive workspaces that suit individual business needs such as hot desking, brainstorming sessions and break out areas.

“But one thing we know from experience that businesses seek out is a like-minded community and opportunities to collaborate together with accessible advice, not just with how the infrastructure works, but with business support around the fundamentals.

“Bruntwood’s awe-inspiring buildings already offer beautiful spaces, we’re delighted to be able to help them develop further their growing business community. This is part of our vision to make business advice accessible to those that need it.”

To mark the partnership, Bruntwood Works will provide free Enterprise Nation membership for 12 months to the first 100 new customers following the launch, as well as 100 existing customers. Membership will then be offered to all other customers at a set rate.
