Queen Avenue to welcome host of acts for Sound City

    A host of local acts will launch this year’s Sound City music festival with surprise special guests for a one-off performance at Queen Avenue in Liverpool.

    The picturesque Victorian arcade will hold the event on Friday 3 May, following the annual Sound City+ music industry conference and prior to the start of the two-day Sound City music festival.

    The special performance in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district is hosted by Bruntwood, which owns Queen Avenue and is once again a principal sponsor of Sound City+, the UK’s leading independent conference for new music.

    Rising stars Ali Horn, Paris Youth Foundation and Katy Alex will all perform on the night, with secret special guests also to be announced.
