The Northern Powerhouse Partnership announces its next steps for the North

The Northern Powerhouse Partnership has today announced its ‘Next steps for the Northern Powerhouse’ report. 

Determined to raise the expectations and ambitions of the North, the aim of the Northern Powerhouse is to unlock the potential of children from the most disadvantaged backgrounds, oversee the creation of a highspeed rail network east to west across the North, build more new homes and create more high-value jobs through investment.
